A Phoenix native, Sydney has lived in Arizona her whole life. She first grew interested in becoming a lawyer while in high school, at her parents' suggestion. After graduating from Sunrise Mountain High School in 2012, she went on to attend Arizona State University. While at ASU Sydney particularly enjoyed classes she took on business law and courtroom communication and decided to enroll in law school following her graduation in 2017.
Sydney studied at the nationally renowned Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at ASU and received her Juris Doctor in 2020. She received both the CALI Award of Excellence and the Oral Advocacy Award in recognition of her work during law school.
As a licensed attorney by the State Bar of Arizona, Sydney focuses on civil litigation, including business disputes, real estate, construction, and contract law. Throughout her work here she has upheld the principles that Monahan Law Firm was founded on: honesty and integrity. She doesn't shy away from delivering tough news and will always be open and honest with clients over telling them what they want to hear. Her clients will always receive clear communication to allow them to make informed decisions for their case.
Outside of the office, Sydney and her husband Kyle are starting a family and have a baby on the way. A longtime fan of the Arizona Cardinals, she enjoys finding time to watch a game at home or cheering them on in the stadium.
